Overview

As a coach, I help executives and leaders enhance their people management competencies or prepare for transitions to a new role, team, or career change. Recruiting was always my favorite part of human resources. I enjoy discovering the type of person who can effectively support an organization’s mission and strategy, and I also love meeting candidates to learn about their career stories and talents.

My approach to coaching comes from a natural curiosity and optimism about everyone's ability to succeed. I am certified through both Northwestern University and the Hudson Institute of Coaching. We all have a story and are driven by our own distinct values and motivators. My role as a coach is to listen and support clients through a process of discovery, planning, and implementing sustainable change. In recruiting, I draw on over 25 years of experience in human resources and executive recruiting. One has never “seen it all”, but I’ve seen and learned a lot. Whether intentional or not, how leaders hire, provide feedback, and model learning and development creates the culture. Romberg Associates is a one-person shop, but when assignments require more people, I team up with other qualified coaches and consultants. Services range from a one-time spot coaching session to long-term engagements for recruiting. Contracts are flexible based on your needs and my capacity.
